The University area is in the northeast section of Charlotte. Many of the high tech and administrative centers for large corporate offices are located in this area on W. T. Harris Boulevard. The University of North Carolina in Charlotte is also located in this area along with The Lowes Motor Speedway, Concord Mills Factory Outlet, and the Verizon Amphitheater.
Residentially, this area is growing with a variety of neighborhood communities with various price ranges. It provides easy access to I-77 and I-85. School Districts in the area include Derita, Nathaniel Alexander, Mallard Creek, Ranson, and Vance Zebulon.
