Nestled among the rolling wooded hills, the Little Miami River and the Ohio River, is an area referred to as Anderson Township, Withamsville and Cherry Grove. The name Cherry Grove denotes the ambiance found in the scenic qualities of this area. Still rural in spots, this eastern area is one of the hot spots for growth. With I-275 passing alongside, the trek to downtown Cincinnati is only a 20 minute ride; Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is but 25 minutes away.
Known for its good school district, many shopping facilities and fine neighborhoods. Forest Hills and West Clermont School Districts are located in the area. The Clermont branch of the University of Cincinnati and the Clermont Branch of Wilmington College both have facilities nearby offering associate’s degrees as well as credit toward bachelor’s degrees. Coney Island on Kellogg Ave has the nation’s largest filtered pool with waterslides. Tennis courts are available at a number of places, including Lunken Playfield. There are 5 public and 2 private membership country club golf courses.
