About the area:

The Milwaukee metropolitan area encompasses many suburbs. With an excellent, easy to use highway system, all points of interest are accessible within a half hour drive. The downtown area boasts miles of Lake Michigan shoreline with numerous beaches and parks and the McKinley Marina. During the summer months, Milwaukee is host to the world's largest music festival - Summerfest. After Summerfest, there are countless ethnic festivals that run throughout the summer.

Downtown also offers the Milwaukee Public Museum, with the Imax Dome Theatre and the children's Discovery World. There is also a new art museum and the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. The Wauwatosa suburb offers the Milwaukee County Zoo and the Pettite National Ice Center. Other points of interest are the many beautiful golf courses, specifically Brown Deer which is home to the GMO (Greater Milwaukee Open); home of Miller Brewing and Harley-Davidson.
