About the area:
Considered to be one of the fastest growing areas in the tri-state area, Florence has taken the ambiance of the rolling hills and old fashioned farms and combined them with new multi-styled homes. The area is situated near or on I-75, I-71 and I-275. Florence has expanded due in great part to the Florence Mall, making the city the center of shopping and trade in Northern Kentucky.
Its' strategic location near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport has also been a benefit to the community as the jobs created by the expansion has added to the tax base and been beneficial to the Florence School District. The Florence area is just 15 minutes away from Big Bone Lick State Park, home to some important paleontological finds. The Big Bone Lick has its own herd of bison that roams in an enclosed area much as it would have in prehistoric times. Horse racing has a beautiful track Turfway Park, known for the Jim Beam Stakes.
