Old Town district is divided into 3 main areas, which are Al- Karma, Deira and Dubai Creek. Al Karama is a residential district of Dubai close to Dubai Creek and part of the bustling older part of the city. Al Karama is the most populous residential area in Dubai, outside of areas zoned to house labour accommodations. Deira is an area in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates bordered by the Persian Gulf, Sharjah and Dubai Creek. Port Saeed is a small port along Deira's shore of Dubai Creek. Port Saeed holds some of the dhows and small shipping boats in Dubai. Dubai Creek or Khor Dubai is an extension of the creek has recently been approved. The extension, which is part of the Business Bay development, will bring the creek all the way around Bur Dubai and into the Persian Gulf. Including the most remarkable buildings alongside the Deira side of the Creek are the Deira Twin Towers, Dubai Creek Tower, Sheraton Dubai Creek, National Bank and Chamber of Commerce.
