Rock Hill is located in north central South Carolina just off Interstate 77, about 15 miles below the North Carolina border and 25 miles south of downtown Charlotte. It is the largest city in York County and the fifth largest city in South Carolina.
Situated in the heart of the Carolinas, on the border of North and South Carolina, York County offers visitors a welcome experience. Home of the Catawba Indian Nation, York County is home to the only federally recognized American Indian tribe in SC. York County is part of the Olde English District, one of ten tourism regions in South Carolina.
