Del Mar and Carmel Valley lies on the northern edge of the City of San Diego. Residents are active and take advantage of the area's open space to bike, skate, walk and run. Home of The Famous Del Mar Race Track and The Carmel Valley Community Park which offers a sports facility that includes playing fields, a swimming pool and a gym. Summer concerts are held in the park. A quick twenty minute drive south brings you to the airport, downtown San Diego, Balboa Park, the Zoo, Mission Bay, Sea World and more.
