Furnished apartments provide alternative lodging for needy execs

One of the biggest deterrents when it comes to the use of extended stay apartments is that companies and travelers don't actually understand the way these facilities work. Knowing that a service exists without a full knowledge of how or why it practices means that businesses could be missing out on a valuable addition to their remote working portfolios, providing executives and business people with a more accommodating stay. Such a prefered experience could make work and productivity much easier, as stress reduction and comfort are tantamount to peak performance.

Bridging the knowledge gap
Much of what goes unsaid about services apartments is that these facilities are somewhat similar to a hotel experience in the degree and quality of services and provide an exclusive level of care for those staying there. However, serviced apartments also offer travelers accommodations with the full functionality and privacy of a regular apartment complex, providing road warriors with the comfortable feeling of being home despite staying in an unfamiliar place, granting more relaxation and comfort than a standard hotel experience. It also means that, for trips with a duration of a week or more, a person can get settled and lose the sensation of transiency they may get from living out of a suitcase.

Issues may sometimes arise when businesses try to determine how to interact with these establishments. According to Travel PR, most companies still assume that hotels and extended stay corporate apartments are the same thing, meaning they can make reservations and check-in with the same sort of system. To the contrary, those looking to stay in these facilities must request a statement and set up a conventional contract for a set period of time before a stay can be booked and initiated. Booking processes can sometimes be different for serviced apartments from the standard consumer establishment.

Expanding markets
These models are making an effort to extend to the rest of the world, where the concept is even more abstract and struggles to take shape. Combatting the confusion between standard accommodations and serviced apartments and attempting to draw more visitors, The Economic Times wrote that some companies are making deals with U.S. organizations to expedite the reservation and stay process, meaning more global expansion for these entities and an increased success for international extended stay furnished apartment providers.

"The concept of service apartments is immensely popular in the West, offered to professionals visiting the city for a short period, stretching to a maximum of six months," said Amol Parkhi or Sorrento Service Apartments. He told Economic Times that some facilities allow up to three-year stays for interested corporations, adding that these longer visits are better served by corporate apartments than standard hotels, as travellers are able to settle and feel more comfortable in a personal space with full amenities.

All the comforts
For longer trips, having the correct capacity for all utilities and other services is essential to corporate travellers, as they are not looking to spend more money than needed while out of town or overseas. Not every billable expense will be reimbursed to corporate travelers, so many business travelers are looking not to spend more money than necessary.  Furnished apartments provide the safety and security of a full home experience without the discomfort of a small single-bed hotel room, providing the facilities which allow for more home-cooked meals and cut down on extra costs.

To meet these needs, corporate apartments provide living, dining and sleeping areas much the same way a conventional housing situation would deliver the same experience. Corporations looking to get the most from their out-of-town employees need to make sure they are properly communicating with these facilities to ensure that they secure the best accommodations for their workers, ensuring a higher level of employee loyalty and enjoying increased productivity from these employees while they are out of the office.
