BridgeStreet received the esteemed designation as "Best Corporate Housing Provider Company" from the Chicagoland Apartment Association (CAA) for the sixth consecutive year.

Three BridgeStreet Associates receive the GMS Designation |
Congratulations to BridgeStreet associates -Doreen Compton, Marelyn Krueger and Shelley Feder for passing the three module test presented by the ERC® (Employee Relocation Council), and gaining the designation of Global Mobility Specialist. The GMS test covers three days of interactive classroom instruction with a test for each module and focuses on providing and overview of Global Workforce Mobility strategies and tactics, fundamentals of applied Expatriate Policy Development and the intercultural challenge of doing business globally. The knowledge gained from these classes and the addition of this designation to their credentials will assist BridgeStreet's client relations and global sales efforts. Great job, Doreen, Marelyn and Shelley!

BridgeStreet Leads launch of Serviced Apartments Rating System |
BridgeStreet UK was keen to pioneer the new grading system and now has two regional properties with  four-star ratings, The PostBox by BridgeStreet Worldwide in Birmingham and The Atrium by BridgeStreet Worldwide in Manchester.
The idea of an industry-wide grading system emerged when the company met with Quality in Tourism more than two years ago to discuss the grading of The Atrium by BridgeStreet Worldwide Apartments in  Manchester, UK. Discussions with Quality in Tourism led to conclude that the industry would benefit from a formal grading system against which all providers could be measured. The concept, championed by BridgeStreet, was presented to the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers, who immediately adopted the idea and has spent the last two years developing the system with Quality in Tourism.
As with the hotel industry, the grading system provides universal frames of reference for the intrinsic quality of apartments' fixtures and fittings, cleanliness and general services. Check-in and arrival processes, as well as health and safety systems, are also tested to ensure they reach a recognized industry standard.
The new system is less about achieving the highest number of stars for BridgeStreet apartments and more about offering travelers an independent, reliable and objective rating against which to judge each serviced apartment provider. Over time corporate buyers will likely only entertain working with serviced apartment providers who have submitted their inventory to scrutiny in this way, especially as each grade also affords an instant indication of the property's quality and price ratio.
BridgeStreet UK fully endorses the new grading system and is thrilled to have the BridgeStreet brand at the forefront of the rollout of what is a significant step forward for the industry as a whole.
