There’s so much to see and do in this central Barcelona area. The apartment is located in the el Born area which is a great historic and cultural part of the city with many old gothic buildings to admire and lovely cafes to set down in during your travels. If you enjoy shopping or just a good browse then there are lots of boutiques in the area too or you can walk a little further onto La Rambla Boulevard for more shops and the Boqueria food market or head to Passeig de Gracia which has many designer stores and the Bulevard Rosa shopping centre. For lively nights out try the famous clubs at Plaza Real which is right by La Rambla or head to the beach for the bars that are located on the board walk. Barceloneta beach is the city’s most popular beach and packed on a sunny day. Satisfy the tourist in you with a visit to the nearby Picasso Museum, Barcelona Cathedral, La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Or go a little further to the Montjuic for the Magic Fountain, the Spanish Village and the National Palace.
