Esmond Road II's uniqueness starts at its entrance. The hosts like to travel, and have decorated the light, open-plan living area with their souvenirs. The sitting room is hung with pop art, the kitchen has Emma Bridgewater tea sets, and a carved Indian doorway is striking against the dining room's black feature wall. Through the broad glass doors there's a patio garden, and the utility room (and bike shed) are just beyond.
A staircase to the left of the living area leads to the first floor. There's a crimson TV room, lined with books, on the left, and both the twin bedroom and the third bedroom with its double bed and Indian wall hangings are further along this corridor. Head up to the second floor for the master bedroom. Its ensuite is skylit, and dark taupe walls are the canvas for yet more cultured artworks.
