Up near Parliament Hill, Shirlock Road II is a laidback spot with character. To the left of the entrance, a staircase leads up to a roof terrace with potted plants and ten parasol-shaded seats. The sitting room, up again and on the right, is restful too. Scatter cushions lie on the wooden floor, while a gallery of pictures and prints surround the fireplace and large corner sofa. A round dining table seats four, and on the right you'll find the open-plan kitchen, which has traditional cream cabinetry.
The second bedroom is more contemporary with modern artwork and a sleek white double bed. Up again, the bathroom is on the right, and straight ahead you'll come to the master bedroom. Floral art complements the seagrass carpet, and there's a pair of sloping skylights opposite the king-size bed.
